RUDE ROCK TRAIN

Rude Rock Train, will be an improvised trip by differents cities of Europe having only one thing assured and bought: the train ticket and the intention of earning the meals and sleep where they will be took in. The different circumstances will mark the route and the destiny of these two personages.

Juantxo Skalari is a well known music in half the world by his band called Skalariak and had now begun a new project The Kluba with which he has traveled by 6 different countries. He has more than 750 concerts on his repertory.

Jaume Blanc – El Toubab is a traveller music that has made a long way but in a more underground field with bands as Presidents, La Voz de los nadie o Te Verde playing in the Spanish State, Honduras, Senegal and Germany.

Both have something that join them: their adventure spirit and the experience of playing standing on the streets.

Experience of playing on the streets

Jsk put in action the playing on the street on his tour “Street ska”,  where he hold the people on different streets. It was practised in Iruña, Bilbao, Barcelona... with his band of 8 musics, in improvised places without stage, without date nor fixed timetable. It was an street improvised spectacle that delighted the fortuitous public that was on the different countries.

Jaume Blanc had an experience of overcoming when  he travelled to Berlin with only a round-trip ticket, without any money, only with his guitar and a suitcase to gain his sustenance on the streets. Really an experience that honours this music with “street spirit”, experience that surely has changed his vision of  music and all the things that involved it.

Two experiences that all musics should have, whichever their musical style and their position are in the musical structure that surround us.
